Person-centred counselling is a non-direct talking therapy, whereby you (the client) choose what you want to talk about, with me working alongside you at your own pace. I incorporate aspects of CBT and play therapy in my sessions; this can help clients who have anxiety, or find it difficult to talk.
Therapy enables you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions and enables you to make changes so you can move forward.
We all have times in our life when we feel we need that extra bit of support, or just somebody to listen who won’t judge, criticise or try to force us to think in a particular way; Therapy can provide that support.
We are all individual with our own thoughts, feelings and emotions. You are the expert on you. Its your life, your choices!
Each session is up to an hour long, but if you decide you’d like it to end sooner that’s absolutely fine. You can talk about whatever you feel is a priority for you at the time of the session; each week can be different.
